Indiana Jones
It seems like only yesterday when Lucas had stated
that the script for Indiana
Jones IV was complete and ready to go. But no, though
the first draft got a thumbs up from some of the key players, Lucas felt
that he had to work with writer, Jeff Nathanson, a little bit to help give
the finalized version the 'Lucas touch.'
The first announcement claimed that we'd have a finished script by the end
of summer. Obviously, this time has come to pass. So now when can we expect
a script and is there any chance they could crank a film for summer of 2006?
Indy 4 Script will Make 2005
According to theindyexperience,
we have a couple months, at most, until the final draft of the Indiana
Jones IV screenplay will be released:
The Daily Targum featured an interview with Producer Rick McCallum who talked about the live-action Star Wars TV show and gave an update on the Indiana Jones 4 screenplay that George Lucas is currently working on:
And then there's everyone's favorite hat-wearing
archaeologist. "George is finalizing the script on Indiana Jones Part 4,"
McCallum says, "which should be done within the year." It's a good thing
ILM has experience animating dinosaurs, because if Harrison Ford dies it
shouldn't be that hard for "George" to cut him in.
Indiana Jones 4 still has an expected release date of summer 2006,
a date that will probably change due to the delayed release of the script.
