This latest casting report sounds too good to be
true. It would seem that Paramount Pictures is planning on creating a film
currently titled Cockblocker, which would tell a story dealing
with the subject matter. As most guys know, there is nothing worse than
a friend, or foe, that attempts to cockblock on a given target, sorry, lady.

on Cockblocker.
Paramount Pictures has won a bidding war for
a comedy with the MPAA-challenged title of "Cockblocker" by writer
by Greg Coolidge. Seann William Scott and Topher Grace are attached to star.
Scott will produce with his Identity Films partner Graham Larson, as will
H2F's Walter Hamada and Chris Fenton. Grace and Michael De Luca also are
on board to produce. The deal is still in negotiations. "Cockblocker"
follows a guy (Grace) who meets the girl of his dreams, only to find out
that her best friend happens to be her ex-boyfriend (Scott). It is based
on an idea by Coolidge and Hamada. Coolidge will commence writing immediately.
Seann William Scott vs Topher Grace? Well, if this is the same skinny Grace
from In Good Company and That 70's Show, then there should be no contest
for Scott. However, it has been mentioned that Grace is now bulking up for
his role in Spider-Man 3. Should we expect the same amount of bulk put on
by Tobey Maguire for the original film? If so, then maybe Grace could go
toe to toe with Scott.
Besides brawn, Seann William Scott and Topher Grace are both hilarious and
could make an interesting comedy together.
