X-Men 3 teaser trailer?
X-Men 3 Advertising Campaign
Daniela Tose, international director of licensing, and Mark Rhodes, vice-president of retail development at Marvel, had the following bits of info to dish out based on the advertising campaign that they have planned for X-Men 3:
A trailer for X3 will be released in February. It will be exhibited in theaters, on the internet and at various other big events (including the Superbowl Finals).
Hugh Jackman will make a special appearance on The Simpsons next year. This will likely coincide with the promotion of the movie.
There will also be some mention of X-Men in an episode of The OC next year as well.
X-Men 3 Teaser Trailer?
Though we are still expecting the teaser trailer for X-Men 3 to be released in December [most likely with King Kong], 'kevin' has alerted us that RopeofSilicon has recently
posted a video that they have labeled 'X-Men 3: Teaser Trailer.'
Though it is nice to have a preview of something, I am hoping that the video they have is not what we are waiting for in December. If it is that video, why not release it right away? Oh yeah, they did, with the 'teaser trailer' on the official site.

Last, I thought I'd post a little segment out of our BLOGS from Kanon, who claims that he has been working on the real X3 teaser trailer. However, we have NOT confirmed the post or any information within:
Hi everyone. I work for a company in charge of putting subtitles in movies (I do not perform any task related to the translation, I just work there) and I get to see the teaser trailer for X3 that would be showing with King Kong. I can't give you a full description, 'cause I'm supposed to be working right now, but I'll try to describe it. Some of you may be dissappointed that the mayority of it we have already see it, but believe me, It rocks!
Here we go:
First, we are in the Liberty Island scene at the end of X-Men. Magneto's machine is working at full capacity and the energy wave is reaching Ellis Island, where there are the world leaders. Wolverine jumps in (in the torch) and tries to destroy the machine, but Magneto stops him. Down in the head of the statue is Jean Storm and Cyclops. Cyclops is aiming and says 'I got a shot'. Jean screams 'Scott, wait'. Cyclops finally shoots and the machine is destroyed. Then, we see Jean face (just like in the end of X-Men) really worried and exhausted. The the screens fade to black and after a brief silence we hear Scott talking to Jean. He says something like 'I Don't know how to say this, but ever since Liberty Island...". "Scott..." he interrupts. "You have been different"
Then we get a really close look at one eye opening, and the pupil is bursting in flames.
Then a lot of flames cover the screen and it goes blank again with the caption "5-26-05 Evolution Leaps Forward" and some credits at the bottom.
X-Men 3 comes to theatres on May 5th, 2006.
