The marketing hype behind the graphic novel adaptation, V for Vendetta, has died down a little bit since the announcement that the film will no longer grace us with its presence in 2005. Catching on to the mood, Warner Bros has picked up its game and will be releasing four new movie posters for the film one by one on different websites. So, who goes first?
V for Vendetta Movie Posters
The first lucky site to have the exclusive on the latest V for Vendetta poster is AintitCool. The next three sites to feature a new, exclusive, movie poster for the film are IGN, UGO and then MTV. But hark! Where the hell is CanMag.Com? Haha, ok, ok, we will let that one go... I guess these sites are a little bigger.
Other than my jest, this new poster for V for Vendetta looks unbelievably sick [in a good way] and I cannot wait to see what else Warner Bros has in store for us.
V for Vendetta Poster
Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V For Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Natalie Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante known only as “V.” Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he detonates two London landmarks and takes over the government-controlled airwaves, urging his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression. As Evey uncovers the truth about V’s mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself – and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plot to bring freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption.

V for Vendetta will be released to theatres on March 17th, 2006.
