Day Watch
Ever since I have caught wind of the Russian film Night Watch, the first film in an upcoming trilogy, I couldn't wait to begin reading subtitles again. With an initial announcement from Fox Searchlight Pictures that we could expect the film by July, I figured summer had yet another huge blockbuster hit on the way. However, July has passed and we still haven't had our fair share of Night Watch.
We are so behind here in the states that there are already two different trailers for the sequel, Day Watch.
Day Watch Movie Trailers
The trailers for the upcoming Day Watch look good [not great], which is most likely from me not being able to understand Russian. Each version of the trailer shows a ton of clips in somewhat of a mind fuck fashion. I can't really tell what is going on, but the scenes they do show off look sweet as hell.
What can you expect? How about a bird transforming into a man, a guy running clean through a wall on horseback, a whip that lifts cars, a car that drives on the sides of buildings and tons of other shit.
Day Watch is the second installment of a trilogy based on the best-selling sci-fi novels of Sergei Lukyanenko entitled 'Night Watch, Day Watch, and Dusk Watch'.
