If what I hear is correct, it looks like we have a win-win when entering the theatres for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire this weekend. According to the latest reports, the teaser trailer for Superman Returns is flying in as we speak!
Superman Returns Trailer
According to a report sent over to AICN, the teaser trailer for Superman Returns will definitely come attached to the premiere of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Not that you needed any more motivation to see the film, but Warner Bros knows the time to strike and the time is now.
Just wanted to drop a line and let you know that the Superman Returns teaser is DEFINITELY attached to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! I just got back from an employee screening of the film in DLP at AMC Pleasure Island 24 in Orlando and I must say that aside from HP being an awesome movie, the teaser trailer for Superman is great! Working in the movie exhibition biz for 14 years, I have seen a lot of previews, teaser or theatrical. It’s a hard job to convey an upcoming movie without 1) showing too little, or 2) showing way too much. I usually prefer teasers that do just that, wet your appetite about what you are going to see. I was ecstatic at the outcome. There is no dialog other than Marlon Brando’s Jor-El speech from the original Donner film. I am referring to his speech that talks about “our capacity for good”.
Can't wait till midnight tonight [special screening of GOF] or this weekend? Well, according to the reports, we can expect the teaser trailer for Superman Returns online by tonight! And Brandon Routh doesn't look gay.... hurray!
Superman Returns comes to theatres on June 30th, 2006.
