X-Men 3
There was a period of time today when I thought 20th Century Fox was pulling our legs when they announced that we could expect the teaser trailer for X-Men 3 at any time. However, it looks like my fears were unfounded as the teaser trailer has now been unleashed and it looks pretty slick; and surprisingly detailed.
X-Men 3 Teaser Movie Trailer
Yes, this is one damn good looking movie trailer for X-Men 3. However, it still doesn't compete with the full trailer that was released for X-Men 2. You know, the one where all the mutants are re-introduced; now that trailer was insane. However, this is the teaser trailer for X-Men 3 and offers more visuals than most could hope for.
Personally, I completely dig the new haircut for Storm [Halle Berry], a style that has changed with each X-Men film. I also dig how this trailer makes all of the mutants look a bit more powerful and more, well, mutant. We get to see Wolverine [Hugh Jackman] doing gnarly aerials, Storm doing a spin or two and Magneto showing off how cool magnetism can be.
What else is there? I couldn't really get all that into the Bridge scene, with the biggest reason being that it was only shown for a moment. Iceman looks cool, Pyro looks cool, Beast [Kelsey Grammer] looks freakin' sweet and Juggernaut is only briefly shown.
When Angel's wings come springing out in the lab... awesome!
One guy that I think deserves a little love is Cyclops [James Marsden]. The guy's look has been so fitting in the X-Men films that it almost makes me want to argue whether Marsden is that so-called 'B-actor' or not. The guy looks good, but I think he may be quick to go in this sequel. Rest in peace good buddy.
