The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada
With all the blockbuster films that have crowded into December, it has been harder for us to get around to some of the little guys. Therefore, we were stoked to hear that the Tommy Lee Jones film, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, had released a new trailer that looks incredibly, well, dramatic.

One of my biggest issues that is bound to come up with this film is the incredibly hard to spell title. It's films like this, The Chronicles of Narnia and the Assassination of Jesse James that make titles hard to fit into articles.
But, all kidding aside, Three Burials looks like one of those brilliant films that solely depends on a few of the main characters. Therefore, it is good to see director Tommy Lee Jones show off the full extent of his acting abilities as he slides into the role of a border patrol agent who becomes conflicted when one of his own does a grave act. When I first heard of the film I thought we'd have another 'Marshall' on our hands, but the trailer for the film (and early reviews) state otherwise.
A man is shot and quickly buried in the high desert of west Texas. The body is found and reburied in Van Horn's town cemetery. Pete Perkins, a local ranch foreman (Tommy Lee Jones) kidnaps a Border Patrolman and forces him to disinter the body. With his captive in tow and the body tied to a mule Pete undertakes a dangerous and quixotic journey into Mexico.
