Here is a brief update for any of you who ever wondered if Project Greenlight would bring us a film
that could drive moviegoers to the theatres. Dropping drama and going after horror, Greenlight's next attempt, Feast, now has its official trailer online.
Feast Movie Trailer
I love how the movie trailer for Feast opens up. We are first introduced to what looks like a fun-loving bar that has no issues but which guy is going to get with which girl. However, then this cool looking dude shows up and begins to say some words that deserve respect. Unfortunately, as he is doing so, he gets yanked out the window by some weird creature that he has come to warn the bar patrons about. Sure, it was meant to scare, but director John Gulager meant for a humorous effect as well. Somewhat like the same effect brought on by Samuel L. Jackson's character being eaten unexpectedly in Deep Blue Sea by angry sharks mid-speech. Hilarious!
Feast actually features a couple semi-known names in a cast that includes Navi Rawat, Krista Allen, Balthazar Getty, Judah Friedlander, Jenny Wade, Duane Whitaker, Josh Zuckerman, Eileen Ryan, Clu Gulager, Diane Goldner, Anthony "Treach" Criss, Jason Mewes, Henry Rollins, Eric Dane and Tyler Patrick Jones.
