Philip Seymour Hoffman in M:I:3
Duh-duh-du-du-duh-duh-du-du, Paramount Pictures has released the teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel Mission: Impossible 3! When I first heard that JJ Abrams (LOST) was going to direct my only doubt was whether or not the director would find the perfect blend of action and, well, the JJ Abrams style; and boy has he! The action, though quickly shown, looks sweet!
Teaser Movie Trailer for M:I3
I am cool with just about everything featured in the teaser trailer for M:I:3. Philip Seymour Hoffman looks awesome as the new villain and has slowed down his speech to fit the role perfectly. The new girl (Michelle Monaghan)
looks hot and Tom Cruise looks better now that he is back to the shorter hair. But never mind the cast, as we already know they look good, let's talk about the action instead.
Every sequence in the trailer looked sweet and didn't feature that over-the-top Woo style. Just when I felt that my heart was content the last action sequence displayed in the trailer just blew my mind. Sure, we may have already seen Cruise blown from a helicopter to a moving train, but the shot of him getting blown into a car thanks to the percussion of a detonated missile is really something to talk about. Hot damn!
