Jackson and crew celebrate King Kong day.
What could be just as hard as making a film? How about dealing with the press and junkets after your highly anticipated film is created. So is the case for Peter Jackson who recently spent a good deal of time in New York City in order to promote his latest pic King Kong through premieres, interviews, more interviews and, well, even more interviews. However, with only two days to go before the release of King Kong, it is beginning to look more and more like Jackson's childhood dream is about to pay off.
King Kong Junkets
The latest video diary for King Kong features Peter Jackson as he explains what he must do now that King Kong is getting ready for its release to theatres. There are some pretty funny moments in this extended production diary where Jackson points out how often he must repeat himself in interviews and therefore how similar all of the interviews must look.
Besides Jackson discussing the work that goes into a 'junket', we also get to meet most of the entire cast for King Kong and witness the excitement they have behind this film (especially Adrien Brody) and the strong appreciation they have of Mr Jackson.
What is left after the premiere? How about a sweet ass after party!
