I have been anxious to see the full trailer for V for Vendetta ever since the latest buzz began to claim that this Wachowski/Silver film was the best movie ever. Ok, maybe not the best movie ever, but the best movie for a good long while. To be honest, I was slightly shocked by these claims (which came from recent early reviews) since V for Vendetta has definitely hit a few bumps in the road including a pushed release date and a disappointed Alan Moore (is he still disappointed?).
V for Vendetta Movie Trailer
The full trailer for V for Vendetta looks pretty damn solid and definitely shows a nice bit more from the film. I especially like hearing Agent Smith, I mean King Elrond, I mean Hugo Weaving as the voice and character 'V'; a character whose face we should never see through out the entire running of the film.
The film looks pretty dang good with the trailer exaggerating the amount of action in the film. Judging by the trailer one would think that V for Vendetta is full of action when that is not actually the case.

Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V For Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Natalie Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante known only as “V.” Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he detonates two London landmarks and takes over the government-controlled airwaves, urging his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression. As Evey uncovers the truth about V’s mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself – and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plot to bring freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption.
