Since we here at CanMag.Com are fans of senseless parodies such as Scary Movie, we had begun to wonder when 20th Century Fox would get the marketing machine moving for their latest creation-- Date Movie.

Though little is known about Date Movie and the films it spoofs without a teaser trailer and full synopsis, I guess we should expect the film to be like Scary Movie, but with parodies of dating films instead of horror. The cast includes Alyson Hannigan, Adam Campbell, Eddie Griffin, Fred Willard, Jennifer Coolidge, Sophie Monk and Carmen Electra.
From two of the writers of Scary Movie and Spy Hard comes this spoof on romantic comedies. Hannigan plays the lead, while Campbell plays her romantic interest. Griffin is Hannigan's father, while Coolidge and Willard are Campbell's parents.
