Click
Some time back Adam Sandler found himself at a crossroad where he had to decide whether he was either going to continue making raunchy comedies or step into a more family oriented setting. In the place of hardcore comedies like Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore, it seems that Sandler decided to opt for the 'cute' comedies that deal more with family and relationships. Is this a coming of age tale for Sandler? Who knows, but his latest film, Click, definitely could have some perks going for it.
Click Movie Trailer
One of the many alerts we had received over the holidays came from 'Fred', who recently discovered that MTV was hosting a high-resolution trailer for the next Adam Sandler comedy titled Click. This is the same trailer that appears on the official Sony website; just much, much better looking.
Click is about a guy who is overworked by his boss (David Hasselhoff) and therefore finds no additional time to spend with his family. Kudos to whoever hired Kate Beckinsale to play Sandler's wife because she is looking smoking in this film. Anywho, the man (Adam Sandler) goes out to purchase a 'universal remote' only to find that the remote he holds can control time and human interaction.
With the device in hand, the man takes a new chance at his family, his job and his wife. Unfortunately, the 'universal remote' does not have any sort of warranty, which causes problems down the road.
The trailer for Click looks pretty solid and is another reminder that Sandler is now into making comedies that more age groups can go out and see.
