A while ago we had received the first trailer for The Ant Bully. Following the guidelines set down by the other 'bug' animations, the teaser trailer for Ant Bully showed nothing but a mock clip designed to introduce the graphics and bits of humor we could expect from the film. Other than that, nothing was shown from the actual film. Sure, we could wait for a full trailer to get the overall gist to the film or we can jump the gun and check out some early preview clips and featurettes.
Ant Bully Clips
The Russian website kino-govno has recently posted a couple of extended clips that give a big preview for The Ant Bully. The clips look pretty good and are definitely worth the download. However, be warned that this site is in Russia and not the fastest of servers. Therefore, it is better to begin downloading the video files and then leave your computer for a bit; these babies take some time.
A boy is shrunk to ant-size after soaking an ant colony with his squirt
gun. Tried and sentenced to hard labor in the colony, the boy learns the
value of teamwork, fights off a wasp attack and tries to return to normal
size.
The CG animations created after bugs have always had success in the box office. First we had Antz and then we had A Bug's Life; two animations that couldn't have been more different in terms of story but both shared the same box office success.
