One bad sign for any film is lack of marketing. Sure, there are films out there that are great even with little marketing but there are also those whose lack of attention is an early preview of how bad the film can turn out. Let's take Grandma's Boy for example. All 20th Century Fox currently offers for the film is a trailer, a poster, a couple of clips and now two movie stills.

Maybe I am just bent over the fact that 20th Century Fox still claims to have an R-rated trailer for Grandma's Boy that nobody could get to. Or, maybe I am correct to assume that Grandma's Boy is being setup to flop hard in the theatres. Either way, 20th Century Fox better pick up the pace on this film before its release at the beginning of January.

If it wasn't for the fact that the only early review we had read for Grandma's Boy was completely gushing we would have alredy lost faith in the film. Come on 20th Century Fox!
Grandma's Boy comes to theatres on January 6th, 2006.
