The Matador
One of the 'smaller' films that we have anxiously awaiting for is the dark-comedy from Richard Shepard titled The Matador. Starring a Pierce Brosnan in rare form, The Matador looks like one of those surprise comedic hits.

The Matador Movie Clips
Yahoo! Movies has recently released four new movie clips for the upcoming 'wider' release of The Matador. The clips all feature Pierce Brosnan as the hitman who botched a job. The scenes are very well done and the dialogue comes off of Brosnan as very natural and partially sadistic; which is great by the way.
The clips also feature a couple classic lines from Brosnan where he compares 'serious' to ED and tries to explain how to stop a panic attack.
We also have an updated synopsis for The Matador that you can read below:
In writer/director Richard Shepard's dark comedy The Matador, Julian Noble (Pierce Brosnan) is a hit man who's very good at what he does, but is losing his taste for the business. Danny is a salesman whose marriage and finances are in trouble. One night, at the hotel bar, these two men meet. Before long, they find themselves having an extremely unique Mexico City experience, one that will change them both forever. Julian the hit man, Danny the ordinary American businessman find that while they have nothing in common, they both need each other in ways they never knew they would.
