We first began to receive emails on New Year's Day claiming that John Glover would play Skeletor in John Woo's He-Man. Though we first took this suggestion as a wild rumor, it turns out that there is a website or two that claim the same info.
John Glover is Skeletor
John Glover, best known by the younger ages for his role as Lionel Luthor in the WB series Smallville, has recently been announced for the part of the villain Skeletor in He-Man. ContactMusic had made the announcement with FASCINATING FACT 742 and now it looks like IMDB is ready to back it up.
Though it would be sweet to see a live action adaptation of He-Man, we are still curious on how John Woo is going to find the time amongst his expansive list of films entering production. The action director currently has six other films announced for 2006/2007 including Spy Hunter, Stranglehold, Metroid and The War of the Red Cliff.
