Bloodrayne Movie Poster
We recently received this press release on the upcoming Uwe Boll adaptation of the video game Bloodrayne. Personally, the best attributes we have found for the film are cool posters, an incredibly smoking hot Kristanna Loken and a nice round of supporting cast that includes Kristanna Loken, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Madsen, Will Sanderson, Matt Davis, Udo Kier, Michael Pare, Geraldine Chaplin and Billy Zane.
However, it now looks like we may be able to add yet another perk for the film-- blood & gore. According to the release, Bloodrayne pushes it's R-rating to the fullest.
Bloodrayne Rating
"The horror audience will be very happy with the gore effects in
Bloodrayne", says director/ producer Uwe Boll. He continues: "We
tried to get the hardest R as possible, and to our surprise the MPAA
approved it without any changes."
So the horror aficionados will see the gore feast they´re waiting
for: German goremeister Olaf Ittenbach ("Beyond the limits") was
responsible for the blood´n´gore effects in Bloodrayne.
"It was the bloodiest movie I´ve ever made", explains Boll, "we´ve
used hundreds of gallons of Blood."
Bloodrayne will be released this Friday, January 6, in more than 2000
theatres in the US, and stars Kristanna Loken, Michelle Rodriguez,
Michael Madsen and Ben Kingsley.
