Though we still know very little about the upcoming
Guillermo del Toro
film Pan's Layrinth, we do know it should be pretty damn sick (in a good way). The teaser poster caused us to knock our boots and now we have an international teaser trailer that looks pretty creepy, cool and fantastic all at once.
Pan's Labyrinth Movie Trailer
There are currently two movie different versions of the synopsis for Pan's Labyrinth floating out the web. Check out both below:
1. In this fairy tale from horror maestro Guillermo del Toro, a small family in Spain moves into an old house in 1943 after the rise of Fascism. Their eldest daughter, at age 12, falls in love with a fawn that lives in the old ruined labyrinth which resides behind their new decrepit home.
2. Pan´s labyrinth is the story of a young girl that travels with her mother and adoptive father to a rural area up North in Spain, 1944. After Franco´s victory. The girl lives in an imaginary world of her own creation and faces the real world with much chagrin. Post-war Fascist repression is at its height in rural Spain and the girl must come to terms with that through a fable of her own.
The film is a mixture of genres including horror, thriller and hard fantasy.

We don't have any movie stills for Pan's Labyrinth nor an official synopsis, but we do already have an international teaser trailer for the film; go figure. The only bummer about the movie trailer is that it comes in flash format. Fortunately, the flash format is pretty sharp.

Pan's Labyrinth will come to theatres some time in 2006.
