Let's admit it-- the low-res images for Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest released today were kind of weak. Luckily, Disney must have realized this fact and decided to release respectably sized movie stills.

The latest set of movie stills (and concept art) for Pirates are pretty good with my favorite being the one shown in the trailer with Jack Sparrow running his ass off while some local natives close in.

If you haven't seen the teaser trailer Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest yet be sure to do so. The trailer looks pretty top rate and a solid return for the franchise. However, just to throw in some doubts, there are a couple moments that have me thinking that Gore Verbinski and Jerry Bruckheimer may have gone a little too over-the-top for this film. Then again, I also thought having a crew of skeletons in the original film was a risky move and we all know how that turned out; cha ching!
