The official Japanese website for V for Vendetta has recently posted an international trailer for the film. Though the international trailer definitely features more than a couple new shots from the film, the full domestic trailer is still better.
V for Vendetta Intl Movie Trailer
This may be one of the few times where the international trailer for an upcoming film is not as good or better than the domestic release. The latest trailer for V for Vendetta is Japanese but still features all sound and dialogue in English; Japanese character subtitles. The major changes seen in this trailer are the structure, music and additional scenes.
Most of the new scenes aren't especially great except for the shot of the rose being placed; a mark of death used by 'V' in the film.
V for Vendetta Japanese Trailer
Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V For Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Natalie Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante known only as “V.” Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he detonates two London landmarks and takes over the government-controlled airwaves, urging his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression. As Evey uncovers the truth about V’s mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself – and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plot to bring freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption.
