It looks like we have quite a few new updates on the current developments for the CG animation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A while back we posted a poster that looked pretty low-budget and were quick to state early doubts on the film.
Well, it looks like those times could, I said could, be behind us as the animated action film has made some apparent leaps and strides since then.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Poster
First off, you can now check out what seems to be the official site for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The site doesn't offer much yet but it does give a nice bit of background on each of the crew and claims that a trailer is coming soon. Soon as in a couple weeks or soon as in by the end of 2006?
You can also keep up with the latest movie news for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the site as well.
Sure, it is nice to have an official site, no matter how bad the URL is, but it is even better to be picked up by a large film house. According to the new movie poster for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the film has been picked up by Warner Bros. Pictures and the recently established Weinstein Company. It turns out that both Warner Bros. and Weinstein picked up the film way back in July; why we hadn't received any word on this we have no idea.
I am not going to lie and say that this movie poster has changed my outlook on the film, but seeing big studios featured on the poster definitely helps. The first thing this film needs is a legit official site; not the one it has now. Second, they better blow us away with one crazy teaser trailer to get the momentum rolling for this film.
The movie poster for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles above was posted by the good people over at Joblo. To see a full-size version of the poster head on over there.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will come out some time in 2007.
