The one person that everybody wants to hear from on Superman Returns-- besides Bryan Singer --
is newcomer Brandon Routh. The guy decides that he'd be Clark Kent for one Halloween and look what happens.
Superman Returns Talk
Sci Fi Wire recently caught up with Brandon Routh and got him to spill a little bit of the motivation behind Superman and how he feels about the human race.
He's come back [after being away for several years]. He's lost. He's learned things about the world that have changed, and he's not found what he went after, ... and he just feels alone. And he's not sure if he wants to use his power even.
It's at that point that he really tries to connect with the world, with humanity, with his humanity.
I mean, he's an alien, but he's human. Or he does his best to be. He lives here. He wants to be part of that world, I think.
To fit in with the human race Superman figures his best option is to become a local nerd at a news building; nice.
Sci Fi Wire then goes on to take a deeper look at Superman Returns and how Clark plans to handle Lois Lane upon his arrival back to Earth; you know how impatient the ladies can get.
Superman Returns comes to theatres on June 30th.
