A couple weeks ago Disney released the first movie stills for their upcoming animated film titled The Wild. Though the film looks a bit like Madagascar but without the island or the sharp angles, Disney is ready to impress us with another one of their Pixar-less films.
Though we are still waiting on a quicktime version of the film's official trailer, Disney actually did one better by releasing the first poster (international) for the film.

The good people over Actuacine have posted the first official movie poster for The Wild. The poster looks pretty sweet and a solid first impression for the film.
The Wild follows a teenage lion from the New York Zoo who gets accidentally shipped to Africa and freed. His friends at the zoo including an older lion, a giraffe, an anaconda, and a squirrel must unite to bring him back.

There is a trailer available now for The Wild but it comes only in flash format over at the official site; you may have to juggle a couple links before finding it.
