Underworld: Evolution
Kate Beckinsale recently appeared on Conan O'Brien for her upcoming role in Underworld: Evolution and came off with a very good interview. Unlike many other big actresses that appear on a late night television show, Beckinsale was talkative and, well, normal.
The major part of her discussion with Conan was how awkward it was to have fake-sex while mostly naked right in front of her husband-director Len Wiseman. Beckinsale didn't seem to care and I am sure that Scott Speedman didn't mind much either.
Though the interview was entertaining it did not dive too deep into the actual film or what it took to make the film. Fortunately, IESB has also caught up to both Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman and asked the two more film-related questions.
Underworld Evolution Interviews
Ok, Ok, the interview with Beckinsale over at IESB also couldn't help diving into the chance to discuss Beckinsale having fake-sex. Not that I blame them, we are talking about a nude Beckinsale here. However, after jumping over this topic Beckinsale discussed what it was like to be married to director Len Wiseman and how she developed the character in preparation for the first Underworld film. According to Beckinsale, she got the motivation of her character from Officer Wendell 'Bud' White (Russell Crowe) in LA Confidential. What! No Blade or any other hero who can kick ass?
The interview then goes on to discuss the physically demanding action sequences that were required for Underworld: Evolution.
