Who knew that the actress that took the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture was currently agent-less. After her old agent, Steve Dontanville, called it quits and retired from the profession Reese Witherspoon has been looking for the next best option to represent her.
Witherspoon Picks Endeavor
According to Variety, Reese Witherspoon has finally made her selection of next agency after the retirement of her first, and only, agent Steve Dontanville.
Witherspoon was picked up by Dontanville when she was only 14 on the set of The Man in the Moon. Therefore Dontanville is credited for the actress getting fingered on a rollercoaster (Fear), stealing the virginity of many black & white males (Pleasantville), becoming the end of a sexual joke (Cruel Intentions), an almost-victim to Christian Bale (American Psycho) and becoming a ditsy blonde who works her way into law school (Legally Blonde).
Actually, after taking a closer look at Witherspoon's filmography it is not too shabby; great work Dontanville!
Soon after Witherspoon accepted her Golden Globe she signed with the talent agency Endeavor. Witherspoon made this choice after meeting with all the major agencies before the holidays. She was the highest-profile actress in play in quite some time.
