A couple new promo pictures for the upcoming Disney/Pixar collaboration Cars have recently begun to circulate around the net and have finally fallen into our own hands.

What I am trying to figure out about these promotional images for Cars is how real or fake they are. Take for instance the image of Lightning McQueen above. Is the blurred background a real image or something created with CG?
Now take a look at the first image of Sally below. How real does the leather hood bra look on the vehicle? Is the vehicle real with only the facial gestures inserted with CG or is the entire picture CG? The background too?
Coming to my point: the CG images and effects used on Cars looks top of the line and another forward achievement by Pixar.

After searching the net we believe these latest two promotional images for Cars originated from over at AutoWeek.
Cars comes to theatres on June 9th, 2006.
