When 20th Century Fox released the cool looking banner for the upcoming Kurt Wimmer film Ultraviolet we told our readers that we should expect an official poster shortly; a poster that would be strikingly similar to the banner. Though we said this, we had hoped that Fox would up the ante a bit and give us a poster with something new; how about a little violet? However, our good source 'RonJon' recently sent over a new batch of pictures and the poster for the film looks exactly as we originally guessed.

At first look at the poster for Ultraviolet we figured there was a possibility that it was a doctored version of the banner that came out a while ago. However, after browsing around the internet for some type of confirmation we discovered that LatinoReview is also claiming that the new poster is official.

Ultraviolet is the second stylized film from director Kurt Wimmer that uses the fighting style gunkata. In preperation for this film we highly suggest you go out and rent Equilibrium starring Christian Bale.
Ultraviolet is approaching the one-month-to-go mark with its release on February 24th.
