Rumors have been circulating across the web that the next Bond chick could possibly be the ex-Mission: Impossible 2 hottie Thandie Newton.
Now, we don't want to begin screaming 'confirmation' yet, but the tabloid newspaper The Sun has recently posted an article claiming, for certain, that Thandie Newton is our girl to see Casino Royale.
Thandie Newton Digs Bond
Personally, I couldn't be happier with this casting update, as it was Newton who gave me a chubby throughout the entire running of Mission: Impossible 2. What can I say? The actress is screaming hot.
However, didn't Columbia Pictures claim they were looking for an actress that looked French and can speak French for the part in Casino Royale?
Does Thandie Newton look French? Now that I think about it, what exactly does a French chick look like?
Warner Bros was hoping for somebody with dark hair for the role so maybe she is the one.
Thandie — it’s pronounced Tandy — is now prepared for the glare of the spotlight that goes with being part of the Bond industry.
But it wasn’t always this way — she suffered a breakdown during her first brush with fame.
She told The Sun: “I had a very tough time being a teenager in the film business.
“It’s not a place for young people unless you have your mum standing by you the whole time, and that isn’t possible.
“It’s too much responsibility and you just grow up too quickly.”
