Though my favorite film starring Val Kilmer remains to be Willow-- Madmartigan was awesome --I still dig that the actor can still pick up some solid films here and there.
For instance, it has recently been announced that Val Kilmer will co-star in the upcoming Tony Scott pic Deja Vu.
Kimmer for deja Vu
According to Variety, Val Kilmer has been picked up to star in the Tony Scott-directed Deja Vu. Kilmer will be joining Denzel Washington, Jim Cavieze and Paula Patton.
Val Kilmer should be comfortable filming for Deja Vu considering that the Top Gun star will rejoin with some other alumni including Scott and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
Kilmer and Washington play FBI agents who get the opportunity to step back in time to stop a terrorist from blowing up a ferry.
Deja Vu will begin shooting early next month in New Orleans.
I was unable to catch Kilmer's latest film, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang where he starred as a gay detective with actor Robert Downey Jr. Kiss looked hilarious and I can't wait to check out Kilmer's role when the film gets released to DVD.
