Last week we had announced that Picturehouse had purchased Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth for North American distribution rights. Well, now that the film has a solid backing, we were hoping that Picturehouse was going to get the marketing machine rolling for the film quickly.
Though we don't know if we can credit the new poster for Pan's Labyrinth to Picturehouse, we still dig the overall look and creepiness.
Pan's Labyrinth Poster
'RonJon' recently sent over a Spanish poster for Pan's Labyrinth that looks even better than the teaser poster we are currently using.
Pan´s labyrinth is the story of a young girl that travels with her mother and adoptive father to a rural area up North in Spain, 1944. After Franco´s victory. The girl lives in an imaginary world of her own creation and faces the real world with much chagrin. Post-war Fascist repression is at its height in rural Spain and the girl must come to terms with that through a fable of her own.
