Dave Chappelle's Block Party
I don't know what exactly you would call Dave Chappelle's Block Party. Is it a stand up performance? Is it a concert? Is it a musical? Is it a documentary? Is it an extended clip from Chappelle's Show?
Hard to say, but let's just assume that this documentary is a mixture of all these things and another inside look at comedic great Dave Chappelle.

What I love about Dave Chappelle's Block Party is that it shows that Dave Chappelle is just naturally funny. The guy doesn't put on an act when he is on stage doing his stand-up performance; that is who he is.
Dave Chappelle's Block Party is rated R and features guests such as Dave Chappelle (duh!), Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Pras, Dead Prez, Kanye West (he was able to take some time from ripping on Bush and who he calls 'haters'), James "Kamal" Gray, Fred Hampton Jr. Leonard Hubbard, Wyclef Jean and Big Daddy Kane.

A live show, a combination of comedy and music, that was shot on location last year, as comic Dave Chappelle threw a party in downtown Brooklyn, inviting local residents and cameras. Academy Award-winning filmmaker Michel Gondry and cinematographer Ellen Kuras captured the exclusive performances, offering moviegoers front-row seats at a unique experience.
