My email box was flooded this morning with multiple reports claiming that Virginia Madsen, co-star of Harrison Ford in the upcoming film Firewall, is the favorite to play Ford's girl in another film-- Indiana Jones 4.

The first alert I had received was from Shannon, who quoted an update on Indiana Jones 4 posted over at IMDB.

And now Madsen is a clear favorite to play the leading lady in Indiana Jones 4.
Ford : "She was an absolute delight - professional, very talented and simply, very sweet. She also took what could have been a fairly one-dimensional damsel in distress role and added so many layers to it - there isn't many who could do that. I'd work with her again in a heartbeat. I'm actually hoping she'll come over for Indiana Jones. We've talked about it."
Now, I know that there are a bunch of us who don't count the chickens until they are hatched over at IMDB, so I was also pleased to receive a second report (from multiple emails) from theindyexperience that confirms the quoted information above.
Turns out that actress Virginia Madsen impressed Harrison Ford in his new film Firewall (where Madsen plays Ford's wife) so much that he is now talking about a possible role for her in the next Indiana Jones film.
Nothing has been made official yet, but this is the first 'favorite' we have heard of so far.
My personal 'favorite' would be for them to finish the damn script already.
