Here is a basic rundown of the TV spots for Warner Bros that appeared during the Super Bowl.
16 Blocks- Cool TV spot that offered some new text effects during the credits and title. However, the spot leaves a lot of the plot out and spends more emphasis on the relationship between the characters played by Willis and Def.
V for Vendetta- Warner Bros can do no wrong with this film. If this latest spot had the running time of a full trailer it would probably be the best one yet. Showing a nice set of new scenes, playing solid new music and further displaying how clean the cinematography is, any moviegoer who didn't know about 'V' now has his name pegged.
Poseidon- Looks like Warner Bros had to prove that this remake is in fact a summer popcorn film. Showing off a bunch more explosions, more of the rogue wave, and characters in distress, Poseidon's genre just shifted from adventure to 'Bruckheimer thriller.'
