One of our readers, 'Harrry Potter', recently sent us the second promotional image of Evanna Lynch.
Lynch was the girl recently selected to play Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Lynch for Order of the Phoenix
Along with the image we received a link to an article that looks more like strange coincidence than anything.
The article, supposedly written in 2003, had this to say about a Harry Potter book signing that went on in Ireland during the same period:
Co-operation between her family, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and Eason's led to an eleven-year-old from Termonfeckin receiving a signed copy of the new Harry Potter book. Evanna Lynch, a student at Cartown National School, was hoping to queue outside the booksellers for her copy with her older sister, Emily, but had to go into hospital instead. However her parents, Marguerite and Donal, collected her early in the morning and took her to Eason's where a signed copy of the book, one of only a dozen in the country, had been set aside for her. After buying the book Evanna had to return to hospital where she immediately started reading the bestseller.
Is this possibly the same Evanna Lynch that was picked up to play Luna Lovegood in the next Harry Potter film? If it is, talk about a fan's dream come true.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be released in 2007.
