With The Da Vinci Code finishing of production Tom Hanks is beginning to look for his next big thing.
With his new free time, Hanks has already pitched his own Talk of the Town.

According to a Variety, Universal Pictures has picked up Talk of the Town, Tom Hanks own star vehicle.
Hanks will produce the film with partner Gary Goetzman.
Hanks has picked up Nia Vardalos to write the pic. According to Vardalos, Talk of the Town will have Tom Hanks play a man who is forced into a career change when he least expects it.
Is that it? Not much of a hint on what to expect.
Vardalos had a bit more to say on Talk of the Town but it sounds a bit too close to Joe Versus the Volcano.
I liked the title, and I wanted to explore the concept of this contrived holiday and what happens when romance is forced on us.
Vardalos also said that a Big Fat Greek Wedding sequel may be in the works.
