Nacho Libre
Only last Friday did we receive the first trailer for the upcoming Jack Black comedy Nacho Libre and now Paramount has already stepped it up to release a second version.
With this type of urgency you would think the film was coming out in March; we like!
Nacho Libre Trailer
When a Mexican monastery/orphanage is threatened with financial ruin, the cook Nacho (Black) begins moonlighting as a luchador (aka wrestler) in hopes of earning enough dinero to save the day. The only problems: He has a body like, um, soft nacho cheese and no wrestling experience of which to speak.
Personally, I dig the first trailer for Nacho Libre more. Besides adding quite a few more scenes, the new trailer had me laughing only when I saw the same scenes from the old trailer.
However, the one thing that the trailer does do is give a better idea of the motivation behind the story. Nacho decides that he should become a luchador for two reasons.
First, he digs the sport and, second, the sport represents an out to raise money for his orphanage.

Nacho Libre will be released to theatres on June 2nd, 2006.
