The fact that Sony Pictures decided not to take the Lord of the Rings approach by filming both books in the Robert Langdon series at the same time still surprises me. More and more studios are beginning to use the technique including Disney, who currently has the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels being shot back to back.
Instead, Sony Pictures chose to take the later story in the novels from Dan Brown by beginning with The Da Vinci Code; though some still consider Angels & Demons to be the better book.
Beginning May 19th, moviegoers will be able to see Ron Howard's adaptation of The Da Vinci Code as it hits theatres under numerous banners that claim the film is the most anticipated film of the year and the most controversial.
Because of the controversy surrounding the story, The Da Vinci Code has been receiving extra press from the media with expanded coverage and, yes, movie clips.
Da Vinci Code Movie Clip
MSN gave us the first excerpt clip for The Da Vinco Code and now they have done it again with their report 'Cracking The Da Vinci Code.'
The latest clip previewed for The Da Vinci Code shows new scenes from the film and is the first that offers a few lines of dialogue from Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks).
I don't know what it is exactly, but does it sound like Tom Hanks is using a bit of an accent?
It is also nice to see Jean Reno again in a film that doesn't have 'Pink Panther' in the title.
