Over the past couple of weeks a ton of leaked images from 20th Century Fox's X-Men 3 have found their way to the internet. We have posted multiple updates covering the leaks and we can now tell you that 20th Century Fox is beginning to crack down on the issue.
The biggest complaint: Many of the images were incomplete, unedited, featured bad lighting or just didn't look good enough for a final cut.
Though we had no complaints of our own, forums across the internet had more than their fair share of complaints towards the leaked images and, being forums, wouldn't shut up about them. What can we say? A forum filled with avid and angry fans will tear apart a film as quick as a pack of hungry wolves attacking helpless prey.
Cracking down on the issue, 20th Century Fox got the leaked images under control and, as you may have noticed, got us here at CanMag to pull off quite a few images ourselves.
You bummed? Well, don't be. Brett Ratner recently spoke to MTV about X-Men 3: The Last Stand and said the film is still going to rock.
Brett Ratner on X-Men 3
MTV recently caught up with Brett Ratner and got him to spill a couple of details on X-Men 3 and the film's leaked images.
Below is a snippet from the report with Brett Ratner:
"Well, it seems to be the last of the series. 'X-Men: The Last Stand.' We wanted to make sure the audiences knew that this was a trilogy. Even though they weren't made together like 'Lord of the Rings,' this is really closure for the X-Men series. ... This is the last stand for sure."
Leaked images from the set of "X3" have been swirling around the Internet with the intensity of one of Storm's tornados, building a torrent of discontent from die-hard "X" fans repelled by the less-than-impressive appearance of beloved characters like Beast, Juggernaut and Colossus.
"Those photos were [taken] before I even started shooting," Ratner explained. "They were done in the testing process, so those photos are very, very old."
"I think whenever you're on the Internet and you have nothing to do and you're a fan, you become very anxious to get the information, but you have to consider the source..."
Ratner goes on to talk about how X-Men 3 will go out with a bang and that we need not worry.
