If you've been counting down the days until the release of X-Men 3: Last Stand, then look out for the X-Men world exclusive in the new issue of Empire. The issue, which hits newsstands on Friday the 24th, boasts never-before-seen pictures of Jean Grey, Magneto, Wolverine and Storm on two collectable front covers.

Empire Magazine will have two different collectable covers for their upcoming issue. One cover will feature Wolverine and Storm while the other will have Magneto and Phoenix/Jean Grey. You can preview both the Empire covers (without text and title) below.

Since Empire is claiming that it has new images for X-Men 3 I am beginning to wonder if they are not the same images that were leaked to the internet a couple weeks ago. 20th Century Fox has been cracking down on some of the 'completed' leaked stills beginning last week. Are they trying to get them off the net before Empire has their chance to preview them?
