Jurassic Park
Remember when the original Jurassic Park was released to theatres in 1993 (I was only twelve) and it was shown as the next step in CG effects? Actually, Jurassic Park is one of those few films whose special effects still look good a decade later.
Today, every film uses CG special effects including the two Jurassic Park sequels that were more 'ehh' than they were good. However, that is not stopping Universal Pictures who is ready to begin raking in more money with Jurassic Park IV.
Jurassic Park IV Has a Good Script
While talking about his list of film projects with London Free Press, director-slash-producer Frank Marshall claimed that a 'good' Jurassic Park IV script has just popped up allowing the film to come to theatres as early as 2008.
We have heard rumors and speculations over a Jurassic Park IV for some time, but this may actually be the first major step towards production.
He [Frank Marshall] says Jurassic Park IV "has a good script now, so we should have that one up and running next year for release in 2008."
Hopefully Universal creates a solid original film before the Jurassic franchise begins to resemble the Jaws films.
