Running Scared
When we first heard of Running Scared starring Paul Walker we immediately began to expect another Fast and the Furious. However, after impressive clips, trailers and extended previews, we are now anxiously awaiting the film's release this weekend.
Though I found it hard to be saying this, CanMag is now placing a lot of faith in a Paul Walker film.
Running Scared with Paul Walker
The good people over at LatinoReview have recently caught up with Paul Walker and got him to discuss Running Scared and his character in the film.
According to the synopsis and the trailer, Walker plays a low-level gangster whose job is to remove evidence. Unfortunately things backfire when a crucial piece of evidence involved in a cop's death is removed from his custody.
In the interview, Paul Walker claims that his character, Joey Gazelle, is really a good guy who is loyal and put in a place that nobody would want to be in. Due to pressures placed on the character, Joey is given the motive to do some dark acts.
Paul Walker goes on and discusses how much he wanted to play the role of Joey Gazelle since reading the script he considered 'impressive.'
The interview goes on with Paul Walker stating how much he loves director Wayne Kramer and his abilities as a director. Somehow or other the director had a scene or shot that he compared to the beach-invasion scene in Saving Private Ryan.
