We usually like to kick the weekend off with something that has fun with movies. Earlier we showed off Brokeback Future, a parody clip that mixes the gay element of Brokeback Mountain with the relationship between Marty and Doc in Back to the Future.

Now we have Toy Story Requiem, a trailer that mixes the dialogue and music tracks from the disturbing film Requiem for a Dream with video clips from the Toy Story films.

The end result is pretty damn funny; and well done.

Toy Story Requiem Parody Trailer

Toy Story Requiem is a mash-up between Toy Story and Requiem for a Dream. Since Requiem for a Dream's subject matter and language is very R-rated, there may be some of you who will not want to watch the clip due to swearing.

If you are not one of the few who will have reservations towards the clip, then I definitely suggest you check it out. However, you should have seen both Toy Story and Requiem for a Dream to understand the story behind the parody.

Here is a fun fact about the music from Requiem for a Dream:
Composed by Clint Mansell, the theme music to Requiem for a Dream was later amplified to be used as trailer music for Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

Check out Toy Story Requiem. (if page doesn't load completely, click your browser's REFRESH button)

Stay tuned for updates.
