Director Lee Tamahori's (“Die Another Day”) new sci-fi thriller “Next” has garnered another famous face in actress Jessica Biel who has signed on for the film. She joins Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore who were previously assigned to the film.

The film, based on Philip K. Dick’s shorty story entitled “The Golden Man,” follows a man with the unfortunate ability to see the future who is followed by the FBI who wants to use his talent to help thwart terrorism. Cage plays the main character, Biel will be his love interest.
Revolution Studios picked up the picture, written by Gary Goldman (“Total Recall”) and reportedly set a late March production start date. The film will not be released until sometime in 2007 according to the studio.
Another one of Philip K. Dick's novels, A Scanner Darkly, has been adapted into an animated film and is set to come to theatres this July.
