Warner Bros Picks Up The Lies of Locke Lamora
According to Variety, Warner Bros. Pictures has bought the film rights to Scott Lynch's fantasy epic The Lies of Locke Lamora for Michael De Luca and Julie Yorn to produce.
Unlike recent adaptations where the novels being adapted had already found success after being released, The Lies of Locke Lamora does not hit bookshelves until late June.
The story to Locke Lamora revolves around the adventures of a likable con artist named Locke Lamora as he and his band of followers, the Gentleman Bastards, navigate the Venice-like city of Camorr.
The Lies of Locke Lamora joins an expanding list of fantasy films expected to come to theatres.
