Spider-Man 3 Promotional Image (color image)
After the release of the promotional image for Spider-Man 3-- the one with Spider-Man wearing black --there have been tons of theories on what the reflection was in Spider-Man's eye.
Some think it is the reflection of sky and buildings while others have even bigger theories. Just to throw a little bit of fuel on the fire we figured we would give our own two cents.
Spider-Man 3 Eye Reflection
The image to the right is the small version of the promotional image released by Columbia Pictures. The original size is huge; allowing you to catch minor details.
One such detail is the reflection found in the eye. Depending on how you look at it and how you tilt your head you are going to see, well, something.
Many have claimed that the reflection is a skyline with buildings. The good people over at Joblo have posted an edited version of the eye that makes it look like the reflection of a face looking at us. With so many guesstimates on what the object could be, I figured it was time to take a closer look for myself.
Though I figured I wouldn't see anything worth mentioning, I do admit that there could be something there. After zooming in on the eye, the reflection began to look like that of 2nd Green Goblin looking down at the street in a similar fashion to Spider-Man.
Obviously this is only my own opinion, so take a look at the image below to see what I mean.

What I see is another mask looking at the same direction down to the street. Now, to add even a little more fan fiction, it has been said that 2nd Green Goblin joins up with Spider-Man by the end of the film; could the reflection be Harry watching the city streets with Spider-Man?
Hard to say, but there is definitely a reflection in Spider-Man's eye and that must have been added for a purpose. Then again, it could just be a cloudy city skyline and we are all overreacting.
