Cars
The animation behind the upcoming CG animation from Pixar/Disney, Cars, has impressed me from day one. Hell, I am still debating on what is real and what is computer-generated in those two promotional images put up a little over a month back.
Though Disney has done a swell job promoting the animation with the trailers and Super Bowl spot, the latest French trailer for the film shows off even more.
Cars French Trailer
I have got to say that Pixar animations sound incredible when dubbed in French. Sure, you may not be able to understand a lick of it, but it is a damn cool language to hear come out of animated characters. The French trailer for Cars takes us through the familiar 'Pixar intro' that allows the picture house to flex its muscles and show off all of the great CG films they have created so far in order to warm us up to the notion of Cars.
Cars and Over the Hedge are currently the two best-looking (in terms of graphics) animated films we have coming our way for 2006; that is... if we were to leave out the rotoscoping technology used by A Scanner Darkly.
The new trailer looks solid... even if it is in French.
Cars
Hopefully Disney/Pixar (or should it be Pixar/Disney now?) will be releasing a new English trailer for Cars in the next month or two.

Cars comes to theatres on June 9th, 2006.
