The new thing for the movie studios to do-- in terms of marketing -- is to distribute exclusive content for their tentpole films across the internet. Don't give all your new posters or stills to everybody, give one to each. I don't know how this approach has been working so far but the move definitely helps spread a little extra buzz across the internet. Following the latest trend, Warner Bros recently release four exclusive stills for Superman Returns to the internet.
