After having an incredibly long day that included a full pass of snowboarding and hours spent watching the 78th Academy Awards, I figured I would close out the night with yet another international poster from 20th Century Fox for their upcoming film Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. Though I am still a big fan over the increased attention to Scrat-- the little rodent who can't seem to ever get the nut -- the latest poster still gets the job done in a big way.
International Ice Age 2: The Meltdown Poster
The new poster for Ice Age 2 comes in with the tagline 'The Chill is Gone.' I find this tagline and the synopsis for The Meltdown slightly off the historical mark since they both convey that the Ice Age had come and gone in the matter of a few years; doesn't it take, I don't know, about twenty years to go through an age?
All kidding aside, it looks like Blue Sky had no problem taking the leniencies required to keep with the story.

Manny, Sid and Diego return in another incredible adventure. The Ice Age is coming to an end, and the animals are delighting in their new world: a melting paradise of water parks, geysers and tar pits. But when Manny, Sid and Diego discover that the miles of melted ice will flood their valley, they must warn everyone and somehow figure out a way to escape the coming deluge.
Ice Age 2: The Meltdown comes to theatres on March 31st.
